Last fall we launched the Citizens Guide to Sustainable Energy, in conjunction with the Earth Charter's community summits on climate change. With the launch of the new CitNet website, we now invite YOU to help us further develop the Citizens Guide as a helpful reference tool for citizens who want to inform themselves about "sustainable energy" and the challenge of moving the country in this direction.

You can share your information, links, ideas and comments on the different topic areas using the "comments" function on each of these pages.

Right now the Guide is in its beginning phase, mostly providing links to relevant sources. It is not meant to pitch a particular political agenda or viewpoint, but to provide the means to explore in more depth the key topics and controversies within each.

Given the technical and political complexities of the debate, as well as the flood of information (both fact and fancy) the Citizens Guide to Sustainable Energy aims to help concerned citizens quickly and easily find the resources they need to inform themselves on the issues -- as well as share the resources and knowledge they bring to the table.
