Expectations on the outcomes of this meeting are mixed, depending on what group and interests you represent. While many NGOs complain that the meeting does not seriously address many of the critical problems the Earth faces, others celebrate the fact that so many more people, especially businesses, now see "sustainable development" as an important positive approach rather than a threat.
