Step 5: Participate in the national dialogue.

Participate in the national dialogue on our energy future.

The development, adoption and success of a National Sustainable Energy Strategy calls full participation of the American public in a national dialogue on defining and achieving a sustainable energy future.

This national dialogue will take place at different levels -- in your home and among friends, family and fellow workers and neighbors, in town meetings and community fora, in the schools and universities, in places of worship, in the newspapers, radio and TV, not to mention the internet, and finally within our legislative, executive and judicial branches.

In the coming months, the Citizens Network will also do our part in organizing citizen consultations, workshops, and internet dialogues, and help identify opportunities for citizens to make their voices heard.
