The next stakeholder discussion is scheduled for Friday, November 9, 2001 from 1:00-3:00PM in Room 104A at USDA Jamie Whitten Federal Building at 14th Street and Independence Avenue, SW in Washington DC. The agenda for the meeting follows.

US Department of Agriculture (USDA) is hosting this briefing and consultation to assist State Department, which has the lead for Summit preparations for the US Government. This briefing is one in a series to help prepare for discussions on forest at the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD). This briefing and consultation is open to government agencies and all stakeholders, including non-governmental organization and industry representatives, and will focus on what the affirmative agenda should be on forests for WSSD. This is one of a series of briefings; there will be additional opportunities for participation in preparations for the WSSD.
