Official draft background papers assessing progress towards sustainable development for the ECE region have been prepared and may be reviewed. The official report is approximately 96 pages with some attention given to agriculture. Very little attention is given to North America; specific comments were made by governments and NGOs by the participants at the July 12-13 ECE meeting in Geneva.
