- To link people working on sustainable agriculture, food security and land resource management issues in the US to preparations on these topics for the World Summit on Sustainable Development (Johannesburg, September 2002)
- To share information on resources, available materials, and local network links on food security and sustainable agriculture around the world
- To act as a liaison between CitNet members and the Sustainable Food
Systems Working Group
Action Objectives
- To conduct a series of US citizens' preparatory multistakeholder
dialogues on the issues of food security, sustainable agriculture
and rural development (SARD) and land resources.
