NGO Issue Forums

In the winter of 2001-2, CitNet organized a series of NGO issue forums in Washington, DC. Presentations by expert NGOs and roundtable discussions on US progress towards sustainability regarding the issue provided an analysis format similar to that of WSSD. A ten year review of US progress, and examination of obstacles to implementation, and recommendations for next steps were discussed by participants.

Following are links to announcements for the various issue forums. These forums have served as input into American Promises, a civil society review of US progress towards sustainability, due to be released at Johannesburg.
