For WSSD, the Worldwatch Institute has put together a series of policy briefs, an interactive historical timeline of the path to Joburg, and the 2002 edition of their State of the World.book. They also co-hosted the "From Rio to Johannesburg" symposium with the Brazilian and South African embassies in Washington, DC.

President's Council for Sustainable Development (RIP 1993-1999)

Pulled from the NARA archives of whitehouse.gov in August 1999, the PCSD site documents the Council's activity, which culminated with the National Town Meeting for a Sustainable America... and promptly disbanded one month after, leaving no single governmental body to implement and oversee the recommendations developed over six years.
